Swindon Accident Solicitors’ Pink Ladies get muddy to raise over £1,000 for charity
Swindon Accident Solicitors have more than 20 years’ experience helping local people with successful compensation claims, and they also boast plenty of miles on the clock when it comes to supporting good causes.
A 10 strong team of fundraisers from Swindon Accident Solicitors and Bower & Bailey Solicitors were back in action at the annual Pretty Muddy® Race at Lydiard Park. Between them, the Pink Ladies (no relation to Rizzo’s girls from ‘Grease’) raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
There is never a bad time to visit Swindon’s loveliest park, and who doesn’t enjoy scrambling over A-frames, crawling through mud pits, and having fun with friends and colleagues? And if you can raise valuable funds to help beat cancer at the same time; even better. Or as it said on many a pink T-shirt at the big Lydiard event - ‘Real Women Wear Real Mud’
Swindon Accident Solicitors' Robert Millbourn said, "The team did really well and have raised an amazing amount for charity – over £1,000. Well done all and I’m pleased to say no accidents!”
More than 8 million women have taken part in Cancer Research UK’s Races for Life, raising over £547 million to fund the charity’s life-saving work.
